Who is your ideal client?
Physicians and clinics in WI
How did you get started in your field of work?
I started out in the life insurance business when I was 23 years old. I thought I would like the business, and it turns out that it like me too! Thirty-seven years later, I still love what I do!
What is something people THINK they know about your job?
Many people look at insurance as a commodity, but there is really a lot more to it. Language in a policy is very important (especially at claim time).
Name one thing you WISH people knew about your job?
It provides a lot of flexibility, however, if you are going to do it well, it requires a lot of time and commitment.
What do you love most about your job?
I love the people I work with (clients).
What advice would you give to someone starting out in your industry?
Stay the course! It takes a lot of time and perseverance, but after a number of years, it is a wonderful career.
