Lately I’ve had a lot more seniors wanting a studio session to be a part of their portrait experience. I love it! Besides, simple doesn’t have to be boring. Here are some things to consider about having a studio session.

7 REASONS IN FAVOR OF A STUDIO SESSION

BACKDROPS I have a wide variety of backdrops. Solid, patterns, and even faux rooms. Busy or neutral. I’ve got something that meets your style.

COLORS Maybe you want a bold and colorful look. Name a color, I’ve got it!

LIGHTING Bright lighting or dark and moody. Name your tone.

COLORED LIGHTING I love to play with lighting, why not do it with colored lights! You have only the limits of our imagination with playing with colored gels on the lights.

PROPS Say you want to bring all your favorite books to use at your session (please do!). Don’t drag them out to a park - bring them into the studio instead. Safe, dry and easy to access.

LOCATION No need to drive to different locations for a change of environments. A simple button click or change in the paper roll is all it takes.

PRIVACY Sometimes it’s tough to bring yourself to stand in front of the camera. I. totally get it. My studio is a safe, private place. There are no onlookers, bikers or joggers to distract you. I’ve got you!

Hey, class of 2022! Do you still need to book your senior portraits? Let’s talk about what makes you tick. This is an important and thrilling time in your life. Let’s make it memorable.
