Sometimes letting the high school students decide what to wear for their senior session can be fun. Some of them like to dress up because it’s different from their “usual.” Some kids like to show off their totally unique style with their favorite ripped jeans, combat boots and concert t-shirt. Some kids really want to go all out for their photos.
On the other hand, I meet seniors all the time who just want to be… themselves. Drew is one of them. Give him his football jersey and a hooded sweatshirt and he’s a happy camper. (Even if it was 80+ degrees outside!) Make the boy dress up and he’s not gonna have it one bit.
And you know what? There’s absolutely nothing wrong with that! I want parents AND their students to embrace these styles and personal choices. That’s what these senior photos are really all about, after all.
