I meet so many high school students who go with the flow, don’t have strong opinions and are easy to please. I also meet so many students who know what they want, know how to ask for it and have a clear vision of their future. THIS is Jared. If you ask him his opinion, be ready for it. If you ask him what he wants to eat for dinner, where he wants to go tomorrow, what he wants to do next weekend, prepare for an actual answer. A well thought out, inspired response.

All that being said, I’m really looking forward to following Jared’s journey. I can’t wait to see what he decides to do next.

For now, though, he had a distinct vision for his senior photos. Given that we were still dealing with COVID and our options for locations were limited, I am pretty happy with how these portraits turned out… and most importantly, met his expectations. I’m definitely putting Jared’s senior portraits in the win category!

POST-GRAD PLANS
I'd like to get into a good engineering program at a school on one of the coasts, as a way to branch out and see more of the world. Eventually, I'd like to work in developing new technologies for either energy or medicine.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE CLASS?
I can't really pick a favorite subject. Each subject requires different ways of thinking and work in order to be successful, and each plays an important part of my understanding and knowledge of the world as a whole; all equally beneficial.

ACTIVITIES + SPORTS
Cross Country, Orchestra (and Trojan Players Pit if Violin Parts Available), Ski & Snowboard Club, Key Club, Irish Dance, Prairie Club

ACHIEVEMENTS + AWARDS
-Multiple Regional and National Championship Irish Dance Titles in teams and solo competition, as well as 3rd & 4th at the world championships for team competitions

-Multiple times placing "1" at state solo and ensemble competition for both solo and ensemble performances
