I got started in my field of work because I was initially a client with Northwestern Mutual. After being a client for several years, I became intrigued with the profession because I have always had a passion to help others.

The one stigma I think people have towards my profession and possibly Northwestern Mutual is that we only sell life insurance, which is a false assumption.

In regards to Northwestern Mutual, we perform comprehensive planning. This is achieved through wealth and income protection, education planning, retirement planning, estate planning and business planning.
WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT YOUR JOB?
What I love most about my profession is consistently meeting new people and helping them reach their financial goals.

The advice I would give to someone starting out in my industry is do whatever is in the best interest of your client.
