Waukesha South class of 2022 Sneak Peek (x2!) | Ashlyn + Bailie

When I was in college (University of Iowa! Go Hawkeyes!) I took a class to fulfill a humanities credit. The class was “Elvis as Anthology”. Yes, that Elvis. We studied Elvis Presley and everything about his music and movies. One important aspect of Elvis the Person was that he was a twin - his brother died at birth. My term paper that semester was all about twins. I learned a few things from that class…

  1. Twins are FASCINATING and I knew that if I ever had my own twins, they would surely become my favorite science experiments. If I pinch one, will the other feel it? If one is happy, will the other know? So it’s a darn good thing I had my kids one at a time.

  2. This Elvis class was the easiest and most interesting college credit I ever earned.

Now when twins come to me for senior photos, I don’t want them to have the Elvis Class treatment - easy and indifferent. I want them each to be treated as a unique, singular person. Twins may have been born at the same time but they have grown up to become totally different from their sibling. I want them to embrace that - yet simultaneously not forget they are a set. It’s a fine line, sure, but it’s important that EACH one of the pair feels special.

Take Ashlyn and Bailie.

Ashlyn likes bold and urban. Bailie likes natural and woodsy.

Done and done.

Enjoy your Sneak Peek, girls. There is more to come!
