Tosa West HS class of 2020 | Melanie Muma

Once in a while you meet a high school student who strikes you as a classic, old soul. When you talk to this person, you can feel a certain presence of wisdom beyond her years… like she knows something that I wish I knew, too. Melanie is that person for me.

As I photographed her, I felt like we could have been transported to any decade. Not only is her soul old, her look is classic and timeless. What a gift!

I am so proud to introduce this amazingly talented and wonderful young woman as part of the Wauwatosa West graduating class of 2020. World, meet Melanie.

ACTIVITIES + SPORTS

I play tennis, guitar, piano, love to sing and am in theater at West. 

ACHIEVEMENTS + AWARDS I’ve gotten nothing below an A- on a report card all of middle and high school. I also get awards a few times a year for piano lessons (good practice). I’ve played in many shows (guitar & singing) at Mo’s Irish pub, Hartfest, Tosafest, Zoo a la Carte, etc.
