I am so glad his mom, Kristen called me. I truly enjoyed getting to know Connor better.
Before you look at the first photo and wonder “WHY all the lamps?”, let me explain...
As a custom portrait photographer, I am constantly striving to tell my clients’ stories in their photos. What do they enjoy, what do they love, what’s important to them? Sometimes it’s done in an obvious way (bring your guitar!) and sometimes it’s a bit quieter (a session at the historical society grounds hat happened to be her first job). At our pre-session consultation, I learned that Connor is fascinated with lamps. He loves different types of lights and lighting and gets a thrill out of switching them on and off.
I KNEW right then and there what I wanted to do for him. Thanks to my friends at GreenUp Solutions, I had a plethora of lamps waiting for Connor for his session.
I hope he was as thrilled as I was. And I hope, if nothing else, this is a beautiful reminder of Connor’s personality RIGHT NOW.
