Aurora Central Catholic HS | class of 2017 | Emily

Today marks the first of my 2017 seniors to graduate. Miss Emily's big day is TODAY!!! Congrats, girl!

In all honestly, as much as I ABSOLUTELY ADORE the kids I photograph -- every last one of them -- this young lady has a special place in my heart. She's my niece!

As with anyone else, my ultimate function in the senior portrait process is to make the experience and the outcome reflect THE SENIOR. Sure, you mix in my style, my technique, my vision... but you add in the location that THE SENIOR chooses, the environment that makes THE SENIOR come alive and the tone of the session BECOMES A REFLECTION OF THEIR PERSONALITY.

So, with great pride, allow me to introduce my niece Emily.... graduate of the Aurora Central Catholic High School class of 2017.

Emily is a SMART girl. (Yes, I know I'm biased, but I'm simply reporting the facts!) She has a lifelong love of reading. Her favorite topics are World War II, Abraham Lincoln and....

HARRY POTTER!!!

Selfishly, I'm pretty excited that her choice of colleges moves her CLOSER to us. Carthage College in Kenosha will be "home" for the next years.

Congratulations Emily! I can't wait to see you and give you a giant hug. Have fun celebrating your graduation this weekend.

I am now booking the class of 2018 for their senior portraits. Would you like more information? Fill out this form and I will be in touch with you.
