Congratulations to Mikail | Kenosha Bradford HS class of 2018

Lately, people have been asking if I've been busy with graduation photos. The truth is, no.

But here's why:

Here, in unpredictably weathered Wisconsin, most kids get their senior portraits done during the summer and fall BEFORE their senior year. Maybe it's more than than just the weather... Although, if I were listing the reasons for shooting senior portraits during summer and fall, this is how it would go:

  1. Winter.

  2. Snow in Spring.

  3. Too cold (or hot?) in spring.

  4. Senioritis.

  5. Yearbook photo deadlines.

So while the class of 2018 is busy graduating, I'm sitting here cheering them on and sharing their stories as they walk the aisles. (And yes, it's true, I get a little sniffy.)

Meanwhile, the class of 2019 is getting ready for their closeups.

Here is Mikail. He's graduating tomorrow (!) from Kenosha's Bradford High School.

He's a sweet kid... I know, I know. I always say that. But he WAS! I'm not lying. We had fun together, along with his mom, finding the perfect spots in the park to photograph him.

Everything seemed to flow so well. I even asked Mikail if he had modeled before. It sure seemed like it! He was a natural!

For future reference, if you ever want to know if blue is a good color to wear with a green background - the answer is in the photos! YES! YES! ABSOLUTELY!

Congratulations, Mikail! I'm so happy for you. Best of luck in your future!

Class of 2019 it's your turn! Let's get your senior portraits on the books!
