Rufus King HS class of 2026 Sneak Peek | Phoebe

Meet Phoebe: one half of an amazing set of twins!

Her session took us to this beautiful wildflower trail — bright light, natural colors, and space that felt all her own. Tomorrow, watch for her brother, Declan, who takes his turn with a slightly different (and much shorter!) senior session. That’s one of the things I love most about working with twins — finding ways to celebrate what makes each one unique… and making them come together beautifully for their family to enjoy.

Here are 5 things I do to make every twin’s session feel special:

1. SEPERATE SESSIONS
Each twin deserves time in front of the camera without distractions or comparisons. Their session is their moment. Whether they are totally separate sessions or two parts of a longer session, WE decide what’s best!

2. INDIVIDUAL PLANNING
We talk through locations, outfits, and vibes that reflect EACH of their personalities — even if we’re photographing them in similar places.

3. THE RIGHT POSING
Whether it’s bold and confident or quiet and reflective, I adapt posing to match who they are naturally.

4. STORYTELLING THROUGH DETAILS
From what they bring to the session (instruments, pets, hobbies) to how they express themselves, those little details become part of the story. Phoebe’s skirt in this photo is a perfect example - SHE MADE IT! AND IT HAS POCKETS!

5. A SHARED CONNECTION
Once both sessions are complete, I love when families display their portraits side-by-side — two individuals, one special bond.

Congratulations, Phoebe, on your senior year with the Class of 2026!
