3rd Annual Thanksgiving Gratitude Featured Post | Stein Kids

As we wrap up November, the month when we traditionally express our thanks, I wanted to share this final story about a mom's gratitude for her children. We can all relate - busy schedules and loved ones near and far.

September 2016

My reasons...the reasons I get up at 5AM to take of my health and be a good example with a workout. The reason I scramble to finish my day in the office, so I can get to karate or soccer practice, or whatever the day has scheduled. The reason I work hard, to provide for them now and in the future. The reason I worry at night about the craziness of the world, about bullying, about being a good parent. The reason I swell with pride at small accomplishments, or belly laugh at a 6-year-old joke, or tear up at the kindness a 9-year-old can show her little brother. The reason I miss my dad so much, because he will not meet them in this life. Parenting is a roller coaster, and these two have given me the ride of my life.

3rd Annual Thanksgiving Gratitude Featured Post | Klug Kids

Here's another (SUPER SWEET) post from a (SUPER SWEET) portrait client. This family is so wonderful, it's no surprise that these girls are such good kids.

Gemma and Gabby-

Words cannot express how grateful I am to be your mom. It has been an amazing journey so far watching you grow into yourselves and explore different avenues in life.

Gemma, you are the most creative kid I have ever met and you have already (at age 6) surpassed me in artistic/creative abilities and you impress me on a daily basis with your understanding of how things work. You can and DO turn anything and everything into art or a functional tool. The things you create bring such laughter and joy into the world. I am excited and a lot of bit terrified to see what you come up with when you figure out how to use power tools.

Gabby, you will always be the baby in this family, but you have blossomed into quite the social butterfly. You have the sweetest little giggle and smile that ask, “Will you please play with me?” I love watching you interact with other kids and seeing you (mostly) being so welcoming and accepting of everyone.

I can’t imagine my world without this happy mix of your two very different personalities and I will be forever grateful for this time I get with you! I can’t wait to see what you little ladies come up with next!

Love,

Mom

3rd Annual Thanksgiving Gratitude Feature Post | Kraft Kids

We're back! Welcome to the THIRD Annual Thanksgiving Gratitude posts. I asked some special people to tell me why they love and adore their kids. I received some beautiful answers.

(And kids, if your mom didn't respond, you officially have 36 days to prove her wrong and make Santa rethink his route...)

This mom is very special to me. Without Jen, my life would crumble into a million bits. Her energy and her positive force astound me. And here's to her sweet, darling kiddos!

Nathan Hale HS | class of 2017 Sneak Peek of Ben

Ben is so busy taking care of the rest of the school's yearbook photos that he nearly forgot to get his own taken. Luckily his mom knows this really great photographer...

Ben is the Nathan Hale High School Yearbook Editor-in-Chief. He's a pretty big deal. Plus, he's my kind of guy -- I was on the yearbook committee in high school, too.... Oh, but if he had any idea how we put together the page layouts back then... man, times have changed.
