I can’t wait for you to meet Calvin from the Wauwatosa West Class of 2026!
His senior session was the perfect mix of calm confidence and natural style. We wandered through one of my favorite outdoor spots, Hart Park in Wauwatosa, where the light was soft, the air was quiet, and everything just clicked. It was a little unseasonably warm for October, but I’d rather that than the alternative, yikes!
One of the things I love most about senior portraits is showing that they don’t have to feel formal or stiff. You don’t have to “pose” — you just have to be. When the pressure’s off, genuine expressions and personality come through, just like they did with Calvin.
Sometimes the best portraits happen in between — a quick laugh, a small shift, a quiet moment that feels like you. That’s the magic I aim for in every session.
What I loved about Calvin’s session is that we had to make some scenic choices at the park which still had remnants of construction and debris from the floods in August. Let’s just say we used them to our advantage! :)
