Before I introduce the next, very special, senior from the class of 2023, I need to explain something.
I LOOOVE my “job”. I mean, that’s what we call it; it’s my company, my business, my work, it’s the thing that keeps a roof over my family’s heads. But the thing is, my “job” is to make other people happy and I could not enjoy it more! My goal with anyone - from business headshots to high school seniors to extended families of 17 people - is to make the process of being photographed as easy and fun as possible. I want my clients to feel a surprising relief and joy when they are done - as if to say, “Oh, that was it?! We’re done AND I like my photos? AND we had fun doing it? Well, that was unexpected and welcome change.”
When I get emails like this, from the mom of a senior who didn’t exactly take the most joy in being in front of the camera, it makes my day, week, month and year. THIS IS WHY I DO WHAT I DO. Thank you, Connie, for allowing me to show your sweet and adorable Joey that he is a total rockstar.

In case you can’t tell, Joey’s interests include video games. He is interested in pursuing a degree in IT or video game development.
Interesting fact about Joey: He was born 5 weeks early, weighing in at only 4 pounds. I guess he was REALLY excited to start living this amazing life.
