Muskego HS class of 2019 | Sneak Peek for Lauren

I know, I know, it's Labor Day. I shouldn't be working. This is the joy of my "job" - it doesn't feel like work.

And that's how you will feel when you see Lauren's senior portraits - she made it look effortless! Like it was no work at all! She's such a beautiful girl and she absolutely shines in her photos.

Lauren, I hope you love your Sneak Peek!

Good luck tomorrow with the start of your SENIOR YEAR of high school! It's an exciting and emotional time. Enjoy!

Did you put off scheduling your senior photos? Don't worry! There's still time! Yearbook deadlines are approaching but I can still get your session scheduled with plenty of time to spare. Click below to start the conversation.

Sneak Peek | Milwaukee couple + their BFF

Have you ever wondered what a "Power Couple" would actually look like? Well, here's your answer!

Meet Dan and Amanda. They are quite the pair, each entrepreneurs in their own right. In fact, I would even go as far as calling them Mr. and Mrs. Milwaukee. EVERYONE seems to know them. What? You don't??? Turn to the person next to you. Do they know Dan and Amanda. See? I told you.

Dan is THE Tall Guy of Tall Guy and a Grill and Amanda runs The Simple Home. I was completely honored when they asked me to photograph them.

Today I'm sharing one (adorable!) shot as a little Sneak Peek into their session.

Enjoy Sneak Peek, guys! And make sure you tell Murphy that the lady with all the treats says hi. :)

Is it time to update your family photos? Let's talk! I have some openings left for July but I'm also booking into August (and beyond). Let's get something scheduled today!

Architecture + Senior Portraits = Epic-ness for Christopher

This kid.

I should have known we'd totally vibe when HE sent ME a guide of locations he wanted to use for his senior portraits. (And yes he's hired, by the way.)

You need to know Christopher... here's his story.

Christopher Bravata

Wauwatosa West High School

I am the Lead Student Editor for my school paper.
I am the only student 'employed' by my school to repair Chromebooks.
I played on the JV Ultimate Frisbee team my sophomore year; and I moved up to the Varsity team for my Junior year, as well as my Senior year.

Senior Boy centered on a MKE bridge

I take photos for school events (ie Football games, Marching Band Parade performances, etc).
I also code websites and design things. I enjoy biking and exploring on the weekends, weather permitting.

I have my own business designing & developing websites.
I started the live-broadcast division at my school's Journalism program; the only school IN THE USA that live-broadcasts athletic events (internally - fully operated by students, not done by a local TV channel)

Working at Apple, particularly on the team that designs and develops products like the iPhone, the Mac, and the Apple Watch.

I walked into the local Apple Store, had a conversation with an employee, who called over the manager - who 15 minutes later offered me a job; all at the age of 16.

Like I said earlier.... THIS KID.

He's destined for something big.

Congratulations Christopher on your high school graduation. I'd say, "may all your dreams come true" but perhaps "come up with some new dreams" is more appropriate! You will do great things, and I'll be watching!

Yo, Class of 2019 - you're up! Get more info on your senior portraits HERE.

Congratulations to the Class of 2018 + Joe French

Let's give a warm welcome to the very first Class of 2018 Senior for this year's Senior Month...

Joe French

Marquette University High School

Rowing at Milwaukee Rowing Club

Friends of Hoyt Park and Pool

hangout with my friends, play frisbee and soccer, go on bike rides, eat food

first place in middle school science fair, multiple rowing medals, I can dunk a basketball sometimes.

I have to interrupt this interview with a funny story from Joe's session. See the photo up there with his jacket over his shoulder? While shooting that set, we were stopped several times by on-lookers... wait for it... asking if he was the GROOM. Joe's mom, Sara, after recovering from a mild heat attack, replied with a firm no. Not yet.

For the record, Joe has a quiet, sneaky sense of humor. That said, he was pretty serious during his portrait session. This next photo is one of my favorites... I was acting a fool (in other words, "normal") and his mom was DANCING. In. Public. He really had no choice but to give a little and laugh.

I'm so glad I got to know yet another member of the warm and kind French family. Sara, there's only one left... (sniff)

Best of luck to you, Joe, as you spread your wings.... and oars... at Madison next year.

Psst. Class of 2019. It's your turn. CLICK HERE to get started planning your senior portraits.

Tosa West HS class of 2018 | Sneak Peek for Christopher

This was a really last minute session. Why? Christopher's uncle was going to take his senior photos in New York City but they couldn't work it out.

But then it turned out last weekend I had a cancellation, so they snagged up the slot in a quick minute.

We didn't go to NYC.

Christopher is a budding docent of Milwaukee architecture so I requested that he lead the way to his favorite spots. We had a fabulous tour and honestly, we could have kept going! Also, he loves photography and knew exactly what he wanted for his senior photos. I had an absolute blast touring a small part of the city with him and sharing our common love of capturing light.

Here's your Sneak Peek Christopher.
