Hopfensperger Family Sneak Peek | out for a stroll at Elm Grove Park

Funny story.

Dacia came to me earlier this year for new headshots.

She had been holding onto my business card for three or four years, waiting for that perfect time to call me for family photos. Then one day, she told me, it literally fell out of the cabinet on her. (Luckily I print my business cards on cardstock, not metal!)

So she called me… for headshots.

And then, while at the studio finalizing her headshot selections, she finally booked her family photos. When I say “finally” I’m not being dramatic. She and her (ADORABLE!) family have never had family portraits done.

So I thought, for their very first family portrait session, I wanted to make these the best photos EVER and show them the BEST experience I could possibly offer. How better to do that than have a thunderstorm interrupt us?! Fifteen minutes into the session. In the middle of a giant park. (Go ahead and insert that scared emoji face right here, ha.)

Rushed as we were, I managed to squeeze out some really sweet photos of Dacia and her clan. But just LOOK at them - my job wasn’t too hard!

Enjoy your Sneak Peek!

So… are you one of those families that have never had professional photos taken? We NEED to talk!

Has it been a handful of years since your last professional family photo session? As in, do you have more kids and less hair than that canvas on the wall? (No judgement!) We MUST talk!

Did you have professional family photos done last year? Is it time for an update? Those kids grow up SO FAST. We NEED to talk.

I’m now booking fall family photos, so let’s get a date on the calendar that works for everyone. We will create some beautiful updated photos for your wall, for grandma’s hall and maybe even a set of holiday cards to mail in a few months.
